WHO IS BEHIND THIS

Built by people who teach the trades.

CodeReady comes from Kilroy's Workshop, an independent trade school founded in 2013 by Ron Hardman, with shops in Colorado Springs, Colorado and McKinney, Texas. The explanations here are written the way an instructor explains them at the bench: the answer, the why, and the code section to go read for yourself.

  • Every answer cites the code section or standard behind it.
  • Practice by topic, then see which topics still need work.
  • Independent study prep. Not an exam board or a licensing body.

GOOD QUESTIONS

Before you get started.

Does this match my local licensing exam?

Electrical, IPC/UPC plumbing, IMC mechanical, and HVAC banks are general practice, not aligned to any specific state exam blueprint. Electrical uses NEC 2023; plumbing offers separate IPC 2021 and UPC 2021 banks. Check the product profile and your official bulletin before purchasing. Explore the UPC 2021 bank →

Is progress synced between devices?

Yes. Study progress follows your login email across devices, with a local browser backup. You can also export and import progress from your workbench. Unfinished practice tests stay on the device where you started them.

Can I preview the questions?

Yes. Each available product page includes three free questions with explanations and references. Planned banks show topics only, with no question or study access.

How do I access my purchase?

You are signed in automatically right after checkout. Later, sign in with your checkout email using a password, Google, or an email link. Your access refreshes from Stripe automatically when you open your workbench.

Does OSHA prep issue an OSHA card?

No. OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 are Outreach training courses, not licensing exams. Our Construction study companions are included with all-access. Not authorized OSHA Outreach training. Does not issue an OSHA card. Cards come only from OSHA-authorized trainers after the required 10 or 30 instructional hours, respectively.

Can I cancel the subscription?

Yes. Use Manage subscription on your workbench. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your paid billing period.
